University of Durham Oriental Museum
The only museum in the country devoted entirely to Oriental art and antiquities. Covers all major cultures and periods of the East from Ancient Egypt through India, Tibet and China to Japan.
Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm,
Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 12:00 noon to 5:00pm
Closed between Christmas and New Year.
Charges:
Adults £1.50, concessions 75p, family ticket available.
